The gang from New York City Zoo – Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo – are still marooned on Madagascar. Among sand beaches, sun, sea and coconut trees they make plans to leave this paradise.

In an old piece of wreckage, which once was an airplane, flown by penguins they are heading home. Instead of getting back to their save concrete NY zoo, they crash in the heart of the land of their ancestors: Africa…
Exploring the African jungle is a great experience with beautiful scenery, glorious nature, adventures, reunions with relatives but also with extreme danger. Will our heroes ever get to see New York again?
