Get Involved…It’s a Family Thing!

At Glubble we know one thing for certain: only parents know which Web sites are appropriate for their children. And suitable content differs for each child, and at different ages. Just as parents choose which books to read to their children—and approve which TV shows and movies they’re allowed to watch—the same parental oversight applies to the Internet.
That’s why Glubble lets parents pre-approve the Web sites their children visit, and even approve different sites for children of different ages. And since Glubble is safe, families no longer have to worry and they can now focus on FUN.
Just to share; Our Family Page

A great part of our family’s social life centers around a large 10 ft. wooden table in the middle of our house. Because of its size it basically offers all we need: space to work, eat, read, draw, play games, build LEGO castles or sit with friends to enjoy a good glass of wine.
We’re so used to gather around this old French table that in time it has become the diary of our life. Just browse the notes, drawings, books, photos, toys or other artifacts
and you’ll get a pretty good picture of what is going on within my family.
Get MORE out of Back To School Night this school year (FREE Tip Sheet)!

Back to School Night gives parents an opportunity to be more involved with their child’s learning development and life. After all, the important event—which is also called “Parents’ Night” in many schools and cities—lets parents meet the special teachers that their children have been buzzing about at the dinner table.
The event lets moms and dads walk the same halls that their kids do every day of the week, and even sit at their child’s desks! But Back To School Night isn’t just for meeting teachers, it’s also a time when parents meet other parents, deepen friendships and share advice.
On that note we’ve put together suggestions to help you get the most out of Back To School Night.
And for those parents enjoying Glubble for Families who want to share information with other parents at Back to School Night, feel free to please tell them about Glubble (remember to mention it’s FREE to become a member).
Have fun —and don’t forget to bring the teacher an apple (or chocolate!). Again, to download the Back To School Night Tip Sheet: please just click here.
Kids at the dinner table

It may be your ultimate dream having a pleasant dinner together. Simply eat, laugh and discuss your day with your children while enjoying a nutricious meal. Also the experts advise that regularly eating dinner with your children offers other benefits, including emotional and self esteem development and the strengthening of bonds and beliefs in the importance of family.
But lets be realistic, most kids have food quirks and are picky eaters. And instead of having a time when the family comes together, often it is a time of frustration. Your children are rather playing with the foods than eating it. Refusing to even consider to eat the vegetables, because it ‘smells funny’ or ‘looks strange‘.
No train nor plane can do the trick. Instead your kids are on the brink to throw it on your cripsy scrubbed floor…
