Ask Linsey: Question from Joanie (Santa Fe)

November 26, 2008 by Linsey · Leave a Comment

Q:  I’m sick of all the refrigerator clutter at our house!  How can I use Glubble to cut back and get everyone on the same page?

Being a bit of a clutter bug myself, I can understand where you’re coming from!  Between the permission slips, recipes, and little yellow sticky notes, the front side of the fridge can get quite a workout…

Glubble’s Family Wall is a perfect way to streamline some of the day-to-day communication that busy families rely on to keep things together.  You can message one another and post important appointments for ballet and soccer, reminders on the weather, or a special request to pick up dinner from the store!  It all comes together in one convenient place for everyone to see – through Glubble’s Online Activity Center.

Get Involved…It’s a Family Thing!

November 17, 2008 by Christina · Leave a Comment

At Glubble we know one thing for certain: only parents know which Web sites are appropriate for their children. And suitable content differs for each child, and at different ages.  Just as parents choose which books to read to their children—and approve which TV shows and movies they’re allowed to watch—the same parental oversight applies to the Internet.

That’s why Glubble lets parents pre-approve the Web sites their children visit, and even approve different sites for children of different ages.  And since Glubble is safe, families no longer have to worry and they can now focus on FUN.

Just to share; Our Family Page

November 11, 2008 by Bartel · Leave a Comment

A great part of our family’s social life centers around a large 10 ft. wooden table in the middle of our house. Because of its size it basically offers all we need: space to work, eat, read, draw, play games, build LEGO castles or sit with friends to enjoy a good glass of wine.

We’re so used to gather around this old French table that in time it has become the diary of our life. Just browse the notes, drawings, books, photos, toys or other artifacts ;-) and you’ll get a pretty good picture of what is going on within my family.

Ask Linsey: Question from Beth (Chicago)

November 11, 2008 by Linsey · 2 Comments

Q: I love all the websites suggested to my family in the Glubble library collections, but some aren’t age-appropriate for my youngest children?  How can I be sure that they aren’t accessing websites intended for the older siblings? (Beth in Chicago)

Great news!  Glubble now allows parents to customize the collection of websites for each user!  That means that your children can have a completely different set of websites available to each of them, based on their age and computer-literacy level.
