Learning through the Internet

October 1, 2008 by Bartel Scheers

The most common reasons for parents to have home computers, besides for business use, are their children’s education. Not surprisingly, while we all know that children learn through playing and other activities that keep them engaged. It’s their way to discover the world and to absorb new information and make it their own.

With Glubble, kids learn new skills by playing games and entertaining exercises… and are free to safely discover new lessons by surfing parent-approved Web sites. At the same time they’re using Glubble to play, children are learning how to use computers responsibly since their parents are supervising the content that is appropriate for them and sharing in their online experience.

Just as parents approve all books, televisions shows, games and films for their children, the same rule applies with Glubble. And before children can access any new Web sites or online content, their parents must first approve access to them. Plus, parents can add new sites whenever they want.
